The Office of the Attorney General has given a stronger indication that it will appeal the decision of the Court of Appeal to uphold the submission of no case by Ato Forson and others standing trial for causing financial loss to the state.
The Attorney General describes the ruling as grossly unfair and inimical to the fight against impunity and abuse of public office.
A statement from the Office of the Attorney General said the decision is heavily against the weight of the cogent evidence led by the prosecution in substantiation of all charges against the accused persons at the trial.
