The Ghana Police Service has announced that two of the suspects who were arrested during the Democracy Hub demonstration have been reported sick and taken to the Police Hospital for medical care.
In a new update shared on the X page of the Police Service, it said that the two suspects were taken to the hospital following their complaints of ill-health.
According to the update, one of the suspects, Fanny Otoo complained that he was indisposed while the suspects were being prepared for court yesterday hence the police took him to the Police Hospital for treatment.
Also, Oliver Barker-Vormawor was also taken to the Police Hospital for medical attention after reporting to be sick yesterday, Tuesday 24th September, 2024.
“The police would like to inform the public that at no point in time have the police denied these suspects any medical attention” part of the statement read.
