Parliamentary candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Amefi Central, Joana Gyan has described her victory in court as a victory for Amenfi Central.

The High Court, Sekondi presided over by Justice Gyan-Konto, has granted a motion to vacate the interlocutory injunction against the National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate for Amenfi Central.

The ruling qualifies Joana Gyan to contest the 2024 election after the Electoral Commission was disqualified due to the impending case.

Addressing the media after the ruling, Joana Gyan indicated that

“I’m overjoyed and grateful to God for this positive turn of events. My new lawyers played a crucial role in resolving this matter, and I’m thankful for their expertise. It’s a reminder that those you trust most can sometimes harm you. I extend my heartfelt appreciation to my supporters, constituents, and the entire NDC party for standing by me. We’re now focused on moving forward with our campaign launch and the electoral process. Thank you all.”

In a post shared via social media, she said, “Victory for Amenfi Central!”.
