“When I entered parliament in 2005 January we didn’t have mobile network where all these issues will come to you. It is when you to go the constituency that they hear you have come and then they will come to you. But now text messages, WhatsApp message and calls and the worst of it is all is Momo. So you can’t give and excuse” be said in an interview monitored but MyNewsGh.com.
The Public Accounts Committee Chair said no matter the part of the country you are, constituents are able to bill you and request for momo.
“Even if you are in Bolga or in Tamale.. in Dzodze or Afife or Tajeho in my constituency it’s a matter of send my momo to me. You cannot even meet all the demands because your salary is not even enough to satisfy all demands so you have to be managing” the lawmaker said.
