Residents of Sunyani have called on the government to as a matter of urgency fix their deplorable roads.
Despite witnessing some enhancements in its road infrastructure, Sunyani, the capital of the Bono Region, still requires significant improvements to boost connectivity within the municipality and its suburbs.
The primary areas of concern include the Ring Road and the Alaska-Barracks route. These roads have been neglected for an extended period, causing inconvenience to the residents.
Inhabitants residing along these stretches are voicing their concerns and urging the government to expedite the resumption of construction work.
Meanwhile, in a commendable effort to contribute to the region’s development, Grace Bennett, the proprietress of Solomon Bennett School, has taken the initiative to construct a previously impassable road in her locality.
