Sixth suspect in Nsoatreman FC, Kotoko match violence arrested

The Ghana Police Service has announced the arrest of the 6th suspect in the disturbances that has led to the death of a supporter of Kumasi Asante Kotoko.

The suspect, whose name is given as Elizabeth Akosua Ntiriwaa, is known popularly as Black Chinese.

She is in custody, assisting the police with their investigations.

Meanwhile, two suspects arrested earlier, including owner of Nsoatreman Igantius Baffour Awuah and one Kyeremeh, have been granted bail.

Ignatius Baffour Awuah’s passport has been seized, and his movement out of Sunyani has been curtailed as a result of the issue.

While Agyemang Duah who shirts stained with blood and a gun were found in his apartment, and two others arrested in connection with the death of the Kotoko supporter are in police custody.
