Serbian top-flight outfit OFK Beograd have successfully secure the services of Ghana winger Samuel Owusu in the ongoing transfer window.

The Black Stars winger returns to Europe following a short spell in Saudi Arabia with NEOM SC.

Owusu inked a deal to join OFK and is expected to play a huge role for the club in the 2024/25 football season. The enterprising winger is not new to the Superliga, having had stints with Cucaricki and Radnik Nis.

The skillful winger will be a valuable asset for OFK considering the experience he’s acquired over the years in Serbia.

Owusu looks poised to return to action after struggles with fitness in the past few months, where he spent time on the sidelines.

He will be eyeing a return to the Black Stars as he makes a huge comeback with his third stint in Serbia.

The 28-year-old winger has made 17 appearances for the Black Stars, scoring just a goal since making his debut back in 2019. He was part of the Black Stars squad for AFCON 2019 and 2021 respectively.

The speedster began his career abroad at Radnik Nis before moving to Turkey to sign for Genclerbirgili in 2016. He returned to Serbia in 2017 to sign for Cucaricki, where he made a huge mark, grabbing the attention of then Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah.
