Samartex coach Nurudeen Amadu has expressed that their upcoming CAF Champions League match against Raja on September 15 will be a challenging encounter.The statement comes after FC Samartex, the reigning Ghana Premier League champions, secured the Champion of Champions title by defeating FA Cup holders Nsoatreman FC.The decisive moment came in the 70th minute when Emmanuel Mamah scored a magnificent header, clinching the trophy for the Timber Giants in Tarkwa on Saturday night.The Champion of Champions match served as a prelude to the 2024-25 Ghana Premier League season, set to commence on September 6, 2024, and also acted as a preparatory game for their crucial clash with Raja.Speaking to Peace FM as monitored by Footballghana.com, Amadu acknowledged the difficulty ahead but remained optimistic. "It will be tough by God’s grace and with the support to work hard," he said."We and Nsoatreman should aim to sail through, and if not both, at least one should go through. This match was just a training exercise; the players did well, but there is still room for improvement. Both teams played well, demonstrating that we are all champions."
