Ghanaian politician and public servant Pius Enam Hadzide has occupied a number of important roles in the Ghanaian government.

Hadzide, who was raised in the Volta Region, has risen through the Ghanaian political ranks to become a well-known member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

When Hadzide was named to President Nana Akufo-Addo’s cabinet in 2017 as the Deputy Minister for Youth and Sports, his political career took off. In this capacity, he worked on numerous projects intended to strengthen sports in Ghana and empower its youth.

In 2019, Hadzide was named the Deputy Minister of Information during a cabinet reorganization. He developed into one of the government’s principal spokesmen in this capacity, frequently briefing the media on a range of national concerns and official initiatives.

Hadzide was named Chief Executive Officer of the National Youth Authority (NYA) by President Akufo-Addo in 2021. With this role, he became the leader of Ghana’s youth development efforts, supervising projects for entrepreneurship, skill development, and youth empowerment.

Hadzide’s ability to effectively communicate and interact with traditional and social media channels to share government ideas and information has been well-known throughout his career.
