Parliament is the most organized public institution in Ghana—A Plus

Member of Parliament for Gomoa Central, Kwame Asare Obeng, known popularly as A Plus, believes that Ghana’s Parliament is the most organized public institution in the country.

He says that before he entered Parliament, he had a different perception of the house and the people there.

However, he has realised that things are done differently in the law-making house, which needs to be commended.

A Plus was speaking to 1957 News when he made this known.

“The perception I had about parliament is that this is a very organized institution, and I commend those who were here before me. Mostly, when you are not in and you are looking at it from the outside, it is different. One problem Ghanaians have is they don’t like people when they are being honest.

I want to say that look before I came here, this is the perception that had and I think that, but for nothing this place is a very organized place. Everything here works. It is a place that you can carry your coffee to the toilet and still enjoy it. It is extremely neat. I’ve seen so many public institutions; I’ve worked with Dr Anyar at Korle Bu and I think that this place is different,” he said.
