Only unity can win us Walewale seat – Dr Kabiru Mahama

Parliamentary candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Walewale Constituency, Dr Tiah Abdul-Kabiru Mahama, has assured members of the political party that he is committed to ensuring peace within the party ahead of the 2024 elections.

He is of the view that peace will be a major determining factor in winning the election in the constituency.

Dr Tia Abdul-Kabiru Mahama indicated that the goal is not just about becoming a Member of Parliament but rather to protect the legacy of the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party and past and present Members of Parliament.

He used the opportunity to urge his supporters to be magnanimous as well as rally everyone towards a greater victory on December 7, 2024.

Dr Kabiru Mahama was declared by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) as their Parliamentary candidate after his main contender, Hajia Lariba Zuweira, withdrew from the contest after a fracas was recorded on Monday, September 9, 2024.

The Walewale election was rerun after a Tamale High Court annulled the first Parliamentary primaries which was won by Dr Kabiru Mahama.
