Nyankpala Chief lauds Alhaji Habib Iddrisu for being an MP for all

The Chief of Nyankpala Traditional Area ,Naa Ibrahim Mahama, has praised the Member of Parliament(MP) for the Tolon constituency, Alhaji Habib Iddrisu for being a lawmaker who seeks for the betterment of his constituents devoid of their political affiliation.

According to the Chief , the Tolon MP ensures that any developmental projects for the constituency is shared equally devoid of any bias.

He made this statement when the MP donated an ambulance to the Nyankpala community in the Tolon district of the Northern region just a week after he had made a request.

“ When the MP donated this ambulance, he said it does not belong to NDC or NPP and that it belongs to the people of Nyankpala”, the chief said.

He urged politicians to always seek the betterment of their constituents and called on them to emulate the examples of the Tolon MP who goes about developing his constituencies regardless of political support.

“ If you are a politician and you bring development to the constituency like schools , water, roads, jobs among others it impacts the entire community but if you are a politician and you do things for people based on their political affiliations then you are not a good politician for them.” He disclosed

Naa Ibrahim Mahama, appealed to the management of the ambulance to ensure that they maintain the ambulance for the betterment of the Nyankpala community and its environs.

He thanked the Tolon MP for the kind gesture and urged him to continue to bring development to the constituency.

The Member of Parliament for the Tolon constituency, Habib Iddrisu at a short ceremony to hand over the ambulance to the chief of Nyankpala said the donation of the ambulance is a fulfillment of a promise he made to the people Nyankpala adding that the ambulance will help improve health delivery and access to quality healthcare in the Nyankpala and its environs.

He indicated that his regime as an MP has brought so much developmental projects such as road, schools, health centers, electrification , support for farmers and other initiatives to the Nyankpala area and appealed to the people of Nyankpala to ensure that they vote massively for him and the NPP come December 7 to continue with the transformation agenda.

“ This year please come out and vote massively for me and the NPP because what I have been able to do within 4 years in the Nyankpala area no MP has been able to same in the history of our constituency politics and if any person thinks that has ever happen kindly mention the name of that MP who can challenge me.” He said and donated an additional GHc10,000 for the fueling of the vehicle.
