NPP strategy of instilling fear in NDC working – Prof Alabi

Campaign lead for John Dramani Mahama, Prof. Joshua Alabi has noted that the New Patriotic Party is using fear as a strategy going into the 2024 elections.

He says the governing NPP’s strategy seems to be getting to members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) so much that some even think they cannot win the 2024 elections.

Prof. Alabi has urged members of his political party not to be afraid because there is nothing special about the New Patriotic Party and there is nothing they can do.

“Sometimes I’ve been monitoring the platforms and what people say. What I read is that our opponent has succeeded in pumping fear into our people and to some extent some of them think that it is not possible for us to win, it is a strategy.

NDC was in power for eight years, they came for eight years and we came for eight years. They are in the eighth year so what makes them special? We sit and hear Akufo-Addo want to do something, this man wants to do something, if we don’t do this. Look it is fear. Let’s focus on our jobs, work as we have always been working, protect the ballot box and whoever says he will not hand over power will be the first to run away from the country,” he said.

To Prof. Alabi people who always shout they won’t hand over power are cowards adding that they wield no power to execute what they say.
