Norwich City sporting director Ben Knapper has eulogized Ghanaian midfielder Forson Amankwah after successfully securing his services.The highly-rated Ghanaian midfielder joins Norwich City from Austrian outfit Red Bull Salzburg ahead of the new season.Amankwah penned a four-year deal with an option to extend for another year and is expected to play a huge role for the club as they seek for promotion to the English top-flight.He leaves Red Bull Salzburg after three-year spell in Austria, where Liefering and Rheindorf Altach.The 21-year-old former WAFA midfielder has been handed with the number 18 jersey at Norwich City.However, the club’s sporting director has hailed Amankwah’s qualities and versatility as they count on his talent ahead of the new season."Forson is a talented and very well-rounded player, who will add quality and versatility to our squad."“He’s progressed through a fantastic player development system, and brings with him experience in both the Champions League, as well as being a senior international with Ghana."“We feel he is a great fit for us, and I’m sure that we can develop him further and achieve great things together.”He will be hoping to hit the ground running when the 2024/25...

Amankwah has already debuted for the Black Stars and will be hoping to cement his place in the team. He earned his first Black Stars invite in March 2024, where he featured against Nigeria and Uganda respectively.
