NDC calls for revision of EC Time Table

Director of IT and Elections for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Dr Edward Omane Boamah has called for a revision of the calendar issued by the Electoral Commission.

“Furthermore, the EC’s originally published calendar of activities requires urgent revision to avoid stampeding as we race closer to December 07, 2024.”

My friend Dr. Bossman Asare,

You have invited us to an IPAC meeting tomorrow at 10 am.

We shall attend.

We expect to be updated on the network failure issues as agreed at IPAC several weeks ago.

Also, we expect to be given the final figures from the 2024 limited voter registration exercise at this IPAC meeting. This is because following our corrections of the errors committed by the Electoral Commission, the EC is yet to disclose the final figures.

Additionally, we expect to be briefed with solutions for the hitches experienced by some security personnel while applying as Special Voters.

Furthermore, the EC’s originally published calendar of activities requires urgent revision to avoid stampeding as we race closer to December 07, 2024.

More questions than answers.

We hope the EC is not considering choking the already choked calendar.

NB: Regarding answers to the stolen and missing EC Biometric Equipment, we expect the Parliamentary enquiry requested by the NDC in the letter attached to resolve that. We pray parliament will not fail Ghanaians.

Thanks.
