Mission Pediatrics received the esteemed Best Healthcare CSR Award on Friday, 29 November 2024, in recognition of their outstanding contribution to healthcare corporate social responsibility (CSR).
This accolade underscores the organisation’s unwavering commitment to enhancing the health and well-being of vulnerable populations across Ghana.
The award ceremony, organised by Evoke Impact, brought together leading players in healthcare, including representatives from Lister Hospital, Nyaho Medical Center, The Trust Hospital, FOCOS Orthopaedic, The Bank Hospital, and Universal Hospitals Group.
The event highlighted organisations that are making transformative contributions across the medical, pharmaceutical, technological, and investment sectors.
Mission Pediatrics stood out for its impactful community outreach programs and its dedication to providing accessible healthcare services. The organisation’s recent outreach to Ghana’s northern regions, alongside its focused initiatives to support neurodiverse children, cemented its reputation as a leader in healthcare CSR. By fostering collaborations with local communities and schools, Mission Pediatrics has become a model for how healthcare providers can make a meaningful difference in underserved populations.
The award was presented during the CEO Summit, a prestigious gathering of senior healthcare executives, including CEOs, CFOs, and Medical Directors. The summit provided a platform for industry leaders to discuss strategies for advancing healthcare transformation.
This year’s summit theme, “Leading Healthcare Transformation: Strategies for Financial Growth, Operational Excellence, Strategic Innovation, and Talent Retention,” emphasised the importance of delivering high-quality, patient-centred care while ensuring financial sustainability and operational efficiency. Attendees explored cutting-edge ideas, emerging technologies, and collaborative partnerships aimed at improving patient outcomes.
Keynote speakers included Frederick Amissah, CEO of Universal Hospitals Group Ltd; Dr. John Allotey of Allotey and Associates; Genevieve Puni, Director and HR Practitioner at RecTrain Services Ltd; and Emmanuel Samani, a biomedical scientist and health journalist.
Mission Pediatrics’ recognition as a key driver of positive change serves as an inspiration to the healthcare sector and reinforces the importance of prioritising social responsibility in addressing community health needs.
