Minute by Minute account of Adabraka robbery captured in VIDEO

A detailed account of how the daylight Adabraka robbery was executed on Saturday, November 2, 2024 has been captured in a Closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage.

Though the robbers were masked, suspicion is rife that it could have been an inside job if the chronology of events in the latest released footage is anything to go by.

The timing and how the brazen robbers attacked the vehicle in question that was carting the money to an undisclosed location further give leads to security agencies to interrogate occupants and the driver of the salon car..

It would be recalled that some yet-to-be-identified armed men fled with sacks of money in a daylight robbery at Adabraka Market injuring one person in the process on Saturday.

The incident left residents in shock as they watched helplessly amid sporadic shooting from the robbers.

A video which has gone viral on social media captured the four masked robbers, who were heavily armed, attacking a red Toyota Corolla parked near the busy market.

They fired multiple warning shots to disperse bystanders and passersby as they ran for their lives.

In relation to the incident that happened earlier, the police have assured the public that the armed men will be arrested and face justice.

A statement from the Ghana Police Service reads”The police are on a manhunt for a gang of armed robbers who attacked a jewellery shop at Adabraka in Accra, Saturday, November 2, 2024, where one person was injured. We would like to assure the public that we will surely get them and bring them to face justice.”
