Mahama’s television channel for creatives is better than Bawumia’s streaming platform – Abeiku Santana

Radio and television personality Abeiku Santana is in the trends.

The man who champions Ghanaian tourism is said to have indicated that the initiative supported by the government to have a streaming app The Ghana Music Xperience [GMX] for creatives in Ghana is a lie.

He compares Ghana to Nigeria, which has a big market but does not have a streaming app.

To him, since the Ghana Post GPS, among others, has failed, there is no way the streaming app supported by the government will succeed.

Abeiku Santa is rather recommending NDC’s dedicated TV channel for broadcasting Ghanaian creative content as the best alternative for Ghanaian creatives.

“The biggest music destination is Nigeria but does Nigeria have a streaming app? They said they have launched a streaming app, it is a lie. They said they have launched the Ghana Post App. They have launched several apps that have been a waste in the past and so this one too will not go anywhere. These are the things that they do and people clap but they are all lies,” he said.

He, however, touted, John Dramani Mahama’s initiative of having a dedicated television channel for the Creative arts as the best option for creatives saying “We have an end to end programmes and ideas that is going to transform the tourism and creative arts sector”.
