Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia is of the strong view that John Dramani Mahama had his opportunity and blew it.
According to him, Jihn Dramani Mahama could not take advantage of the position he was offered to change the fortunes of the people of Ghana.
Rather, he subjected the people to four years of hardship with dumsor destroying companies, factories and having an adverse effects on productivity.
However, he is seeking a similar opportunity but will deliver to make the lives of the people of Ghana better.
”John Mahama had a similar opportunity and blew it but I am seeking a similar opportunity but I will deliver,” he said at a youth engagement at the Borteyman sports complex.
Dr Mahamudu Bawumia reminded the youth of Ghana that he has his own vision and priorities and will not be a stooge for anyone like his political opponents suggest.
“I have my own vision and my own priorities,” he reiterated a quote he made during his acceptance speech when he was voted as Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party.
