Per an order by a High Court in Accra, the Electoral Commission is recollating results of some disputed constituencies.
The recollation is taking place at the old Office of the Electoral Commission at Ridge in Accra.
So far, two of the disputed seats have been declared for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and these include Obuasi East and Nsawam Adoagyir.
Boakye Yiadom and Annoh-Dompreh have both won their seats but the y were declared in the absence of the representatives of the NDC who did not agree to the process.
There is a misunderstanding regarding the Tema Central electoral recollation as the EC intends to recollate the remaining constituencies, but the NDC insist the process has to start from the scratch.
However, Charles Forson has been declared winner of the constituency. He polled 18,870 of the votes, while Ebi Bright, who was declared winner of the elections earlier, polled 18,815 of the votes.
