LIST: KNUST New SRC Executives

After months of rigorous campaigns and electioneering, the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology has elected a new leadership for their Student Representative Council.

The new leadership will be expected to take charge of the students and will steer them towards a better direction.

Kane Nana Francis’s victory as the KNUST SRC President-elect was closely contested by Kofi Boakye Apraku.

Kane won the presidential election with a vote margin of 663 against his major contender, Kofi Boakye. He garnered 8,890 of the votes cast, against his closest contender, who garnered 8,277.

Nana Yaa Aduakye has been elected as the KNUST SRC Women’s Commissioner for the KNUST 2024/2025 Academic Year with 2,985 votes, representing 34.05% of the total.
