Kumasi clergy seeks God’s blessings for NAPO

The Christian clergy in the Ashanti Region has prayed for Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh (NAPO), the running mate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), as Ghana approaches the 7 December general election.

At a gathering in Kumasi on Friday (29 November), over 200 religious leaders prayed for divine guidance for Dr. Prempeh, the NPP, and its flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

They also interceded for peace and stability in the country before, during, and after the election.

Dr. Prempeh reassured the clergy of the NPP’s commitment to building strong partnerships with religious leaders and highlighted the party’s vision of inclusivity in governance.

Apostle Sampson Adjei Berko, who led the prayers, emphasized the importance of spiritual support for Ghana’s political journey and the success of the election process.
