The Older Millennial, a well-known TikTok critic whose true name is Joseph Anthony Redden, has replied to widely circulated rumors that he was recently imprisoned.
Recent reports on social media indicated that Redden had been taken into custody, and the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office website featured his mugshot.
According to the arrest records, he was taken into custody and booked on Thursday, September 5.
Redden did, however, film a video in which he denied ever being detained.
He said in the video that he was unaware that he had a prior bench warrant and that, upon learning of it, he went to the Sheriff’s Office to have his picture and fingerprints taken, among other things.
Social media users shot back at his assertion, telling him in a deluge of comments that what he experienced was exactly what an arrest looks like.
