Coach of Hearts of Oak, Aboubakar Ouattara has questioned the brains behind the player exodus from Asante Kotoko at the end of the season.
He believes it is wasteful to ship players out after the season closes rather than building on what is available.
“You are sacking 100 and bringing 200, what are the results?” Ouattara questioned in an interview with SportsObama TV.
“Let us go slowly. When you go slowly, you have a 100% chance to achieve something. Sacking 11, 22, 100 players, we bring in 100 and we start again, you are wasting money.”
Kumasi Asante Kotoko has since the end of the season parted ways with 21 players including some very experienced players.
The Kumasi-based club is looking at rebuilding their ranks in order to return to their glory days.
