Eugene Kwame Marfo popularly known in the music industry as Kuami Eugene, a singer and songwriter has revealed how he’s determined to win more awards.
“I mean it’s a prestigious thing to win awards and it adds up to your brand image so it’s an accolade which is important to win some,” he stated on Cape Coast-based Property FM.
‘The Rockstar’ who was crowned ‘Artist of the Year’ at the 2020 Ghana Music Awards said he’ll never be broken or depressed if he doesn’t win awards because he doesn’t focus too much on that.
He continued “So I’m still working on winning more awards, especially the artiste of the year but I don’t really focus too much on that.
“To the extent that if I don’t win an award I become so broken and I end up becoming so depressed as for that one no way at all for me.
“Winning awards is good if it comes but that’s not the final destination,” he answered in a one-on-one interview with Amansan Krakye as MyNewsGh.com listened.
