Ignore lies by Gabrilla Tetteh; No NDC executive has been kidnapped in Effutu

Following Alexander Afenyo-Markin’s resounding defeat of the National Democratic Congress in the Effutu constituency, party functionaries have attempted to invent one lie after another to bring chaos to the constituency.

Gabriella Tetteh of the NDC is the latest to utter an outright lie about the Effutu Legislator following his overwhelming victory over the NDC’s parliamentary candidate, James Kofi Annan.

Gabriella alleges that the Vice Chairman of the NDC in Effutu was beaten mercilessly by thugs associated with Afenyo-Markin. She also makes another claim that the said Afenyo-Markin’s thugs have kidnapped the NDC vice chairman.

Godwin Kusi (Lazio), an NPP constituency executive in Effutu, explained that the claim the vice chairman of NDC in Effutu was beaten by thugs or people associated with Afenyo-Markin is completely false.

“It must also be strongly stated that nobody closely or remotely related to Afenyo-Markin has kidnapped anybody.

“If Gabriella Tetteh has any evidence to her claims, she should do well by reporting same to the police and other security agencies in the region,” Lazio said.

“Surprisingly, she fails to mention the name of the said vice chairman of the NDC who is supposed to have been kidnapped. The said Vice Chairman has been seen roaming in Effutu even today.

“Gabriella Tetteh is only engaging in such naked lies just to court disaffection for Afenyo-Markin. Her aim is also to get NDC’s thugs to vandalize and cause chaos in the residence of the MP,” Lazio added

“The general public is being entreated to ignore such a fabricated story from Gabriella and her NDC. If she has any evidence to her claims, she should not go to social media to make such a serious accusation but must go to the Police with such evidence,” Mr Kusi further stated.
