If a man wants to marry my daughter, he must impregnate her first, says Kofi Akpaloo

Ghanaian politician and founder of the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG), Kofi Akpaloo, has said that a man must first impregnate his daughter if he wants to marry her.

During an interview with Kingdom FM on 30 August, he explained that his reason is to prevent any difficulties related to childbirth after marriage.

Akpaloo stated that having a child before marriage would show the man’s seriousness and commitment to staying with his daughter.

“If you are a man and want to marry my daughter, I would want you to impregnate my daughter before. That is my principle because I don’t want a situation where maybe you can’t give birth and worry my daughter,” he said.
