The Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA) has announced dates for presidential and vice presidential debates ahead of the 2024 elections.
A statement issued by the IEA indicates that this year, there will be two presidential debates and one vice presidential debate.
Also, there will be five evening encounters with presidential candidates.

Per the statement from the Institute of Economic Affairs, all evening encounters will be held in Accra.
However, one of the presidential debates has been scheduled for the Ashanti Regional capital, Kumasi, on November 19, 2024.
It is not clear if the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has rescinded its decision not to be involved in any debate in the leadup to the 2024 elections.
