Newly appointed Medeama goalkeepers trainer Isaac Amoako has set sights on making the club’s goalkeeping department competitive in the upcoming campaign.Amoako joined the Yellow and Mauve on a two-year deal after ending his spell with Nsoatreman FC.“Personally, I want to prepare our goalkeepers to the level that we concede less goals and help the team to win games next season. My major objective is to prepare a goalkeeping department that can be relied on” he said.The Yellow and Mauve are currently in the Eastern Regional capital, Koforidua preparing for the 2024/25 football season.The Tarkwa-based club faced challenges in the Ghana Premier League despite their exploits in the CAF Champions League, where they reached the group stage.Medeama were unable to glitter in the domestic top-flight last season, finishing eighth on the standings.Having failed to defend the League title in the recently concluded season, Medeama have set sights on winning the elite competition in the country next season.“The club has made me aware of our target going into the new season. We want to win the league this season” Amoako disclosed.
