Works and Housing Minister Kojo Oppong Nkrumah is elated the Saglemi Housing Project is still intact.
MyNewsGh.com reported earlier that the container housing the offices of the project has been torched.
The container was burnt beyond recognition. It took efforts of the Ghana Fire Service to douse the fire and prevent it from spreading.
Speaking to the media after inspecting the project, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah indicated that he was happy about the fact that the main project was not affected by the fire.
“Contrary to the story that the housing project has been burnt down, it is still intact, and it is the old shed and the old materials in there, two of them, that caught fire, so carry on with your work,” he said while addressing the media.
