The Ghana Armed Forces have warned the public against misinformation.
This comes after an audio that has gone viral on social media suggested that the armed forces are illegally conveying boxes of ammunition.
A statement from their outfit debunked reports suggesting a civil pickup truck has been allowed entry into the magazine at 5 Battalion of Infantry to convey boxes of ammunition to an unknown destination.
According to the statement, the pickup truck was there to deliver a cow to be quarantined before being relocated to the Kraal, which is adjacent to the Magazine.
It urged the public and especially the media to crosscheck their information before feeding the public with falsehood.
