Ghanaian forward Kwaku Karikari joins Danish outfit AC Horsens

Danish outfit AC Horsens have completed the acquisition of Ghanaian forward Kwaku Karikari in the ongoing transfer window.The 22-year-old signed a four-year contract with AC Horsens, keeping him at the club until the summer of 2028.Karikari joins from Serbian side FK Jedinstvo Ub following an impressive performance last season.He racked up 16 goals and provided 9 assists as he helped the club to gain promotion to the Serbian top-flight.The Ghanaian attacker emerged as FK Jedinstvo Player of the 2023/24 season due to his swashbuckling performance. In his two season spell, he managed 29 goals and provided 16 assists in 68 matches across competitions.Karikari has started training with his new outfit and is expected to be available for the club in their second league game against Hillerod Fodfold on Friday.This comes after Horsens lost their opening game 1-3 to FC Fredericia.The highly talented player played for Liberty Professionals and Dreams FC in the Ghana Premier League before moving to Serbia, where he spent two seasons.
