Ghanaian attacker Mohammed Fuseini was sent off late in the game as Union St.Gilloise suffered a 3-1 defeat to Czech Republic side Slavia Prague in the UEFA Champions League Qualification Round 3 at the Fortuna Arena.In their first-ever meeting, Slavia Prague proved more clinical, converting three of their chances despite Union St.Gilloise's dominance in possession.Tomás Chory headed in two goals in the 20th and 42nd minutes, assisted by Lukás Provod and Christos Zafeiris respectively, to give Slavia Prague a comfortable lead. Oscar Dorley added a third in the 58th minute before an own goal by Alexandr Buzek gave Union St.Gilloise their only goal of the night.Mohammed Fuseini, who came on as a substitute in the 64th minute, was shown a red card in the 86th minute for violent conduct, increasing Union St.Gilloise's misery.The Belgian side will now shift focus to their upcoming league game against Westerlo.
