An Executive Council Member of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Frederick Acheampong, has denied claims that Nsoatreman FC has written to them to pull out of the Ghana Premier League.
Reports were rife in the local media that Nsoatreman FC had withdrawn from the Ghana Premier League.
They were said to have cited the safety of players and their supporters as the reason why they pulled out of the league after a supporter of Kumasi Asante Kotoko was stabbed to death at their home venue.
But speaking to Accra-based Sporty FM, Frederick Acheampong disclosed that the FA has not received any communication in that respect.
“We’ve not received any official notice of Nsoatreman’s withdrawal from the Ghana Premier League,” he said.
