The Flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, is campaigning in the Greater Accra Region for two days.
This campaign in the region will last for two days.
On Day One of the #Mahama4Change2024 campaign, the constituencies to be visited include Bortianor Ngleshie Amanfro, Weija Gbawe, Okaikoi Central, and Okaikoi North.
On Day Two, the flag bearer will campaign in the Shai Osudoku, Kpone Katamanso, Madina, and Dome Kwabenya constituencies.
John Dramani Mahama has been making pronouncements in the Greater Accra Region, and we bring you some of the things he has been saying.
- John Dramani Mahama has criticized CSOs, Religious Leaders and Activists in the country. He is of the view that the current government is being treated with kids’ gloves. He recounted how some religious leaders were vocal when he was president but lost their voice when the NPP came to power.

2. John Dramani Mahama also touched on the level of corruption under the current administration. The former President indicated that if the level of thievery happening now happened under the NDC, there would have been a coup.
3. John Dramani Mahama pleaded with disappointed members of the governing New Patriotic Party to vote massively for him and avoid apathy. He noted that the current NPP is not the NPP everyone knows because he is aware of the Kufour administration, and this administration can never be compared with that.
4. John Dramani Mahama scored Dr Mahamudu Bawumia an F in his handling of the economy. To him, the Vice President, who is the head of the economic management team of the country did not live up to the bill and should not be given access to power to destroy it further. He spoke about the depreciating cedi and the hardship the people of Ghana have to grapple with on a daily basis.
