Fire at Job 600 building under control, says GNFS

The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) has said fire that engulfed a room at the 12-floor Job 600 building at the State House in Accra has been brought under control.

According to the GNFS, firefighters are working hard to completely put out the blaze.

Three fire engines have already been deployed to the fire scene.

The GNFS in a terse statement on Facebook said occupants have successfully been evacuated to safety.
