The Timber giants showed resilience and determination as they cruised to an important away win over Victoria United in the first leg.

The first half of the game ended in a pulsating goalless draw, as both teams struggled to find the back of the net in the thrilling clash at the Japoma Stadium.

Victoria United dominated the game in the early stages but Samartex kept their composure to deny the home team from scoring.
