An Accra bound Malian articulated truck has crashed into an STC bus at Konongo in the Ashanti Region, MyNewsGh.com has confirmed.
The incident according to MyNewsGh.com Ashanti Regional Reporter, occurred at about 7:40am on Thursday November 7, 2024.
It is gathered that the vehicle with registration number BV 5117-M from Mali towards Accra o n reaching a section of the road at Konongo Macbennet stores along Konongo-Kumasi highway whilst climbing the hill, experienced a faulty engine. As a result, the truck’s engine went off and in the process it suddenly started reversing and crashed into a Daewoo STC bus with registration number GS 7019-22.
All 32 passengers on board the STC bus from Kumasi heading towards Accra escaped unhurt though were terrified.
