Reports indicate that Ed Sheeran has acquired a minority stake in Premier League club Ipswich Town.
Sheeran, who is a lifelong fan of the Tractor Boys, has bought a 1.4% stake in the newly promoted side.
Ipswich say the singer-songwriter will have long-term use of an executive box at their Portman Road home.
However, he will not join the club’s board as his investment is only “passive and minority”.
Sheeran has been Town’s main shirt sponsor since 2021
He has also designed the club’s third kit.
