Dutch-born Ghanaian Tyrese Asante joins Maccabi Tel Aviv on three-year deal
Dutch-born Ghanaian defender Tyrese Asante has completed a move to Israeli powerhouse Maccabi Tel Aviv in the ongoing transfer window.The 22-year-old penned a three-year deal with an option to extend by a further season to join Maccabi Tel Aviv from Dutch outfit ADO Den Haag after passing his mandatory medical.Asante is expected to play a huge role for the Israeli outfit in the upcoming football season.“I am really happy to be here and sign for the biggest club in Israel. I am looking forward to play in front of the Maccabi fans at Bloomfield stadium and ready to win more titles. Let’s make this season a successful one.”Asante made 32 appearances for Den Haag last season and a total of 98 in all competitions since joining the club in July 2021.Having made his first footballing footsteps at the Youth Academies of Feyenoord and Sparta Rotterdam, Asante, moved to HV and CV Quick where he made his senior league debut at the age of 18.
