Dormaahene warns Otumfuo from denigrating Bono Chiefs

Dormaahene, Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Agyemang Badu II has warned the King of the Ashanti Kingdom to desist from denigrating Chiefs in Bono.

In a video that has since gone viral, the Dormaahene could not fathom a recent comment by Otumfuo Osei Tutu II that the Techimanhene has stopped being violent and acting anyhow.

Adding that he cannot say the Techimanhene is his younger brother.

“I heard the King saying that the Techimanhene has stopped acting anyhow like other Chiefs. I am standing in front of the King to tell him that he should never say that again in his life. Otumfuo Osei Tutu II cannot say Techimanhene is his younger brother.

If Mamponghene and the others cannot talk to him to make him realize that his utterances are not in line with royalty, then they should leave. If he does not understand the things that we say he should not sit in his palace and say anything,” he said.

Dormaahene, Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Agyemang Badu II chided the Asantehene for flying in a private jet and buying houses out of Ghana while the people he leads are suffering and struggling.

Dormaahene Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Dr. Agyemang Badu II has expressed displeasure and called out the Asantehene following his recent statements, including one where he described some Bono chiefs as being violent.
