Multiple award-winning artiste, Eno Barony has disclosed that creating ‘Female Artiste of the Year’ at the Ghana Music Awards will augment the craft of females in the music scene.
Speaking on Cape Coast-based Property FM, she said “If the Telecel Ghana Music Awards or any other awards scheme will create a category for females it’s not a bad idea and that’ll be great.
“Because that will augment our work and the craft of the females will feel appreciated and I know it’ll come,” she added
She stated during an interview that there should be more support for female acts to ensure the creation of such a category.
“A lot of females keep coming into the music scene and that category will surely come just that we need the push from the media.
“There should be support for the females especially those in the rap game because the louder they become the more the category will be created for them”.
