CAF grants Samartex and Nsoatreman five extra days to register new signings for Africa campaign
The African Football Confederation (CAF) has decided to grant clubs participating in the CAF Champions League and the Confederation Cup additional 5 days to register their players for these continental competitions.CAF extended the deadline for submitting player lists for clubs participating in both the Champions League and the Confederation Cup until Thursday, July 25th.The continents football’s governing body initially scheduled the end of registration for the first preliminary round on the 20th of this month.It means Ghana Premier League champions, FC Samartex and Ghana FA Cup champions, Nsoatreman FC have additional days to register their new signings.Samartex will be representing Ghana in the CAF Champions League and Nsoatreman will play in the CAF Confederation Cup.Both clubs have beefed up with squads with good players and are looking to make their mark in their continental debuts.FC Samartex and Nsoatreman FC are in intense preseason trainings heating up for the competitions set to start in August.
