Nsoatreman FC coach Yaw Preko believes his outfit should have scored more goals against Elect Sport in the CAF Confederation Cup opener.The Ghana FA Cup champions made a significant start to their maiden appearance in CAF competition after walloping the Chadian club on Sunday.Nsoatreman FC secured an emphatic 3-0 win over their opponent in the first leg of the preliminary round at the Accra Sports Stadium.Two goals from Abdul Rahman and Kwabena Adu Meider’s striker were enough to hand Nsoatreman FC victory.Speaking after the game, Yaw Preko expressed his outfit could have done better in terms of goal scoring.“I’m very proud. We should have scored more, especially in the second half. We lost a bit of balance, and the substitutions didn’t help," Preko said in his post-match interview. "It’s our first, and to get three goals here, I’m very proud of the boys. There is more to come.”Nsoatreman FC will go into the return leg with the advantage following the resounding victory on home turf.The second-leg tie will be played in N'Djamena on August 24, 2024 and the winner of both legs will progress to the second round of the preliminary round.
