Nsoatreman FC coach, Yaw Preko, has assured that his side will put up a good performance to make Ghana and their fans happy.

The Nsoatre-based club will represent Ghana in the 2024/25 CAF Confederation Cup after emerging as the champions of the FA Cup.

Nsoatreman defeated their regional rivals, Bofoakwa Tano last month at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium to lift their maiden trophy.

The Ghana Premier League side have been paired with TP Elect Sport FC of Chad in the preliminary round of the Confederation Cup.

Nsoatreman will play the first leg of the encounter at home before travelling to Chad for the return fixture.

However, Preko, who has signed a two-year deal with the club says he is bent on ensuring they leave a mark ahead of their maiden campaign.

"I have spoken to Maxwell Konadu about the squad he worked with. We will improve what we have at the moment," the former Medeama SC and Great Olympics coach told Accra-based Happy FM.

"We know it will not be easy for us as a new club participating in Africa but we are bent on making Ghana happy.

"We will try and put up a good fight because we have seen what Dreams FC did so we need to prepare well and go there and perform and make our fans and Ghana happy," he added.

The first round of the prelims is set to be played between August 16 and August 25 while the second round is scheduled for September 13 and 22.

The Ghanaian club will face either Algeria's CS Constantine or Police FC of Rwanda in the second round of the preliminary stage if they are able to go past the Elect Sport hurdle.

Meanwhile, Nsoatreman FC will play their home games at the Baba Yara Stadium.
