CAF Champions League: ‘The job is not done yet’ – Samartex President Richard Nsenkyire
FC Samartex president Dr. Richard Nsenkyire has urged his team not to let their guard down, as the job is not done yet in their 2024/25 CAF Champions League first preliminary round clash.The Ghanaian champions defeated Cameroon’s Victoria United 1-0 away in Douala and will complete the tie this coming weekend at the Accra Sports Stadium.Nsenkyire congratulated the team on the good work done and urged them to finish the task at home to progress to the second preliminary round.“The boys have done very well, and we all have to congratulate ourselves. I want to use this medium to thank all our supporters across the length and breadth of this country who supported us to reach this far.“I want to take this opportunity, on behalf of the Samartex board as well as the football club, to congratulate the technical team, the management team, and the playing body. They've done very well.“But the work is not done. As we all know, in football, anything can happen.”The reverse fixture will be played at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday
