Gideon Fosu, the Black Princesses management committee chairman, has acknowledged the challenging nature of their group in the upcoming 2024 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup.Despite the difficulties, Fosu revealed that a strategic plan has been developed to navigate through the group stage successfully.In a recent international friendly match held at Centro Deportivo Choquenza in Bogotá, the Black Princesses played a goalless draw against Mexico, showcasing their preparations for the World Cup.Fosu outlined the team's approach, stating, "It is a very difficult group. What we intend to do is to try our best to win our first game. The strategy is to win our first and be able to play our second game which is against Japan and grind results from there. That has been the approach so again the technical team is working towards that and that is how we are going to approach this tournament."The Black Princesses are placed in Group E alongside Austria, Japan, and New Zealand, setting the stage for a competitive and challenging tournament.
