Asante Kotoko to sign two more players before start of 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season
Former Asante Kotoko National Circles Council Chairman, Kwaku Amponsah has revealed that the club will sign two more players ahead of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.The Porcupine Warriors have so far signed six new players ahead of the new football campaign having ended last season trophyless.Kotoko finished 6th on the league log and will hope to challenge for trophies next season.Despite signing the said number, Mr Amponsah says the club are bringing in two more players to strengthen the side."We will sign two more players before the Ghana Premier League season starts," he told Kumasi-based Pure FM."We want to improve the midfield of the team and we will unveil them soon," he added.Kotoko have signed Joseph Ablorh, Elvis Kyei Baffour, Ndongani Samba Gilbani Oneil, Emmanuel Antwi, Esmat Hassabalbagi and AbdoelKarem AbdoelRahman Yoouef Yagoub.Meanwhile, the Ghana Football Association have announced the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League will commence on September 6.
