Kaakyire Kwame Appiah, a musician and Chief, has called on Ghanaians to accept the explanation by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo who denied knowledge of the trending book titled ‘Agyapadie’.
“I was watching TV when the president was addressing the Agyapadie issue, and he denied categorically that there is no truth.
From the beginning I knew that all that they were saying wasn’t true and Nana Addo has also said it emphatically so we’ve heard it from the accused himself,” he opined on Property FM in Cape Coast
“Everyone should disregard the falsehood about some people trying to capture state properties in the name of Agyapadie because the president has denied it.
However, he said if what is being reported is ongoing then proverbially the destruction of the country will also be felt by those wishing the same.
“But if they alone will plan to do this and have all the properties of this country in only their name we are here if the country should go wayward it’ll be destroyed upon all of us,” he told the host Amansan Krakye.
