Hasaacas Ladies assistant coach Emmanuel Mensah has pledged that the team will compete vigorously for every point in the 2024 WAFU B CAF Women’s Champions League qualifiers.The Ghanaian champions are set to face Edo Queens from Nigeria, Omnisports Etincelle from Burkina Faso, and AS Garde National from Niger in Group B.The team arrived in Côte d'Ivoire on Friday, August 9, 2024, ahead of the qualifiers, which begin this weekend.“So for me, I think that a lot of people will be casting the toss in our favor that we are the favorite. And that shouldn't give room for us to, you know, be very content,” Mensah told Joy Sports.“I think that there are new clubs that are looking forward to make name in Africa. And so for me, I think it has always been Nigeria-Ghana as far as the Champions League is concerned.“So Edo Queens definitely will be one of the teams to look out for.
